From the beginning, the owner, Colony Advisors, recognized the historical significance of the project site - a place where during Waikiki's golden era - visitors came to the islands to discover an exotic and graceful world where Hawaii's ambassadors were the local beach boys. With that very much in mind, the designers set to work incorporating the "Pacific Rim" style, a blend of Polynesia, Indonesia and Thailand. The project presents a "timeless" appeal, with modern technology and a bit of "old world" charm.
