Inviting the outdoors "inside" became the chief tool in creating a sense of wellness and a Hawaiian sense of place. Views were softened with natural, textured shades for a sense of privacy. Overall the design team succeeded in creating an environment consistent with the tranquil, timeless design of the Halekulani, yet still offering a space that was unique within the hotel environment. | |
