GE Capital Hawaii has presented an award winning series of free seminars on remodeling for the general public during the last decade to help homeowners with their home improvement concerns.

The "Remodel It Right" seminars started in 1984 with City Mill as the major sponser and was held at the Kaimuki Library with an overflow crowd of interested island residents. The seminars are held in different communities around Oahu, concentrating on those areas where the homes are 10 years or older.

Through the years the seminar series has helped hundreds of homeowners with their remodeling questions by offering tips and advice from a panel of government and building industry experts.

Organized by the Building Industry Association of Hawaii, the popular series won a national award last year for excellence. GE Capital is the major sponser. City Mill and Hawaii Remodeling magazine also serve as industry sponsers.
